Bright Box, a global vendor of connected vehicle services, announced today the hiring of Vladimir Ilichev as the company’s Managing Director in the CIS region. Mr. Ilichev will be in charge of business development and operations in Russia and CIS countries.
Mr. Ilichev's appointment followed Bright Box's recent announcement that the company was declared one of the top five vendors in the Connected Car market from 2017 to 2021 by Technavio and one of the top 300 companies in the Internet of Things field according to Berg Insight.
During the last eight years, Vladimir Ilichev has managed the service and warranty fulfillment department for Kia Motors RUS, the exclusive distributor of KIA Motors Corp in Russia. During that period, according to research on the IACS (International after sales customer satisfaction) level, in 2016 KIA rose from tenth to second place out of 15 non-premium brands. In addition, a mobile application project was successfully implemented, as was a project dedicated to remotely controlling vehicle features. Within the framework of managing the department special conditions for servicing corporate customers were developed and two lines of spare parts for corporate service were introduced with the goal of reducing expenses on servicing vehicles. As a result, sales of KIA RIO and Creed to corporate customers grew by 30%.
"We are pleased to have Vladimir Ilichev join the Bright Box team.Together we are planning to strengthen interactions with current customers on the dealer group level and significantly expand partnerships with car manufacturers regarding the installation of telematics devices during the manufacturing process," said Ivan Mishanin, CEO of Bright Box.
"Given the increasing duration of car ownership in Russia and the reduction in average annual vehicle usage, it is important to maintain a level of customer loyalty to the brands of the manufacturer and dealer, as well as to work on increasing the level of customer retention. I think that Bright Box's solutions based on the Remoto Connected Car platform will allow dealers to enter the process of active communication with the customer, and telematics services and predictive analytics powered by Bright Box will help them reach a new level of service," remarked Vladimir Ilichev.
