Bright Box, the global vendor of the Remoto connected car platform, will be at Festival of Motoring 2018, South Africa’s largest and most exciting racing event. The festival will take place at Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit, Johannesburg, South Africa, from August 31st to the September 2nd.

During the 3-day event Bright Box will demonstrate the Artificial Intelligence based connected car platform, Remoto AI, which can help sell more cars and car components, increase overall customer retention rate, and dramatically improve communication with OEMs, NSCs, and the customers of large dealership groups. Bright Box will also participate in a panel discussion entitled “The Importance of New Technology.”

Festival of Motoring 2018 is Bright Box’s first event in the region. Attendees will be able to see the global vendor’s latest developments, including the Remoto connected car platform, at work. At Booth No. A6 located in the Indoor Galleria attendees will get an opportunity to control the functions of a Remoto-equipped car located in Moscow using a smartphone. Use the Remoto app, all attendees will be able to turn on the ignition, open the doors, and turn on the air conditioning.

Remoto comes with everything the user needs: a certified OBD dongle to be installed in the vehicle, a web-based control panel, and a custom app for contacting dealers or automakers. The app allows the user to control their vehicle remotely and turn on the air conditioner using the Remoto smartphone app without having to actually go to their vehicle or track its location. Remoto makes the mobile app a unique aggregated information platform for dealerships and customers alike. The telematics solution powered by Bright Box provides a great deal of data, including central lock status, fuel level, battery level, odometer, tire pressure, and temperature, while customers have access their driving history and parking time.
