Bright Box Appoints Ismail Makhlouf as  VP Global Sales
Bright Box, a global vendor of connected vehicle services and a part of Zurich Insurance Group, today announced the strategic promotion of Ismail Makhlouf as VP Global Sales to support the Business Development and management of Sales Organization across all regions excluding the USA effective. Ismail previously held the position of Managing Director at Middle East office, now he will combine this role with new promotion.

Makhlouf has over 14 years of automotive industry sales expertise. Before Bright Box he was Nissan Middle East Deputy General Manager for product marketing, with the roll of overseeing and managing the full Nissan Line up across the Middle East and LEVANT markets including the launch and deployment of the Nissan SmartCar (Remoto solution) in the UAE.

“Since joining the company in 2017, Ismail has spearheaded major deals in the Middle East and Africa. Having worked with him for more than 2 years, I know that Ismail is the right expert at the right time for Bright Box”, said Ivan Mishanin, CEO of Bright Box.

Ismail holds a Bachelor of Arts in Commercial Studies from Cairo University and an MBA from the Maastricht School of Management (MSM) in the Netherlands.

According to Berg Insight, the carsharing market is currently in a phase of strong growth which is expected to continue in the coming years. The total number of carsharing members worldwide reached 50.4 million at the end of 2018. And, the total car fleet operated had reached about 332,000 vehicles.
